Funny story about this. Amy and I were at the Rock Island O Scale show back in 1993 I think. This was on a table and a guy was looking at it. I saw the price and had the money already out. It was new in the box an beautiful. It had a Kleinschmidt drive as apparently these were not very good runners when imported. So this guy has his half glasses all the way down his nose and is looking, picking it up and talking about all the things that are “wrong” with it. This goes on for 20 minutes I kid you not! I just stood in the background waiting to see if he was going to buy it. Finely he puts it down says he’ll think about it and walks away. My money hit the table as soon as he turned his back. A few minutes he comes back to the dealer and rips him a new one for not “holding it” for him because he really did want it.
